Hope you and yours had a safe and happy Holiday
Season.
It's that time again to renew your ACHRC
membership. You can fill out a membership
form online if you did not receive a form by mail. Please fill it
out completely with Name - Name of spouse - name and age of children (living
in yur household under age of 17) - address - zip code - phone number
and area code and your email address at home or work, and mail it along
with payment to the address on the form.

The Christmas supper was enjoyed by all that
attended. We had one of the larger groups this year. At the supper we

Show Sponsors: If you would like to sponsor
a class for the ACHRC shows, you can print a sponsorship form from our
website at: www.achrc.com/sponsorfrm.html,
or contact Pat Avery. Sponsorships are $50.00 for four (4) shows. Your
name will be called out during the class and your business card will be
posted on the website as a sponsor.
Rules for Shows: Rules
are same as changes we made last year.
- To qualify for the year-end award you
must show in one-half of the shows held at the ACHRC arena. This year
you will have to show in 5 shows to qualify.
- Points will be kept on ONE HORSE ONE
RIDER.
- Points will began to count the day you
join the ACHRC riding club.
Queen Contest: The
ACHRC Queen contest will be held APRIL 23, 2005, at 10:00 AM.
Qualifications: contestants must be unmarried
female between ages of 12-17 as of January, 2005 and to have been a member
of EAST ALABAMA HORSEMAN'S ASSOCAITION in 2004. Applications will be available
- contact Pat Avery.
Scholarship: James
Abney memorial Scholarship sponsored by Alex City Horse riding Club.
| To qualify for this scholarship,
the applicant must: |

- Be a member of ACHRC for at least
2 years prior to being awarded the scholarship.
- Be an undergraduate.
- Submit the application by July
15th of the year to be awarded.

| The scholarship may be awarded
only once to any applicant. The scholarship will be presented at the
August 06, 2004 ACHRC show. The scholarship is awarded by decision
of the James Abney Memorial Scholarship Committee only. |
Trail Ride Dates: The
trail ride dates have not been set at this time. Check the website for
updates.
Club Meetings: Held
2nd Thursday of each month at the arena at 6:30 PM. All club members are
welcome.
Workers for Events: We
need volunteers to help with Shows and Trail Rides. If called on, please
volunteer your time to help with these events.
