Without your help, the show would not have run as well as it did.

The next event at the arena will be an EAHA Fund raiser show May 26 and then the following Saturday, June 2, will be another ACHRC show. Help will be needed at the June 2nd show… please volunteer your services for that show – as you see from the list above, it takes a LOT of people to put on a show. 

2007 Queen’s Contest - At the show this weekend, we crowned our Queen - Stephanie Boyington;  Alternate -  Alyssa Holloway;    Horsemanship  - Adele Pegues ;   Miss Congeniality -  Stephanie Boyington (voted by the contestants).   We had a great group of participants this year – making it tough on the Judges!  We would like to thank the Judges – Katie Turner, Kristi Norris, and Carrie Jones.  ALSO, to  Jessica Hodnett for a job well done coordinating the Queen’s contest. Pictures and a list of the sponsors will be put on the web site soon. 

Trail Ride - The Benefit Ride at Hollins, Doc Hope’s place, May 19 & 20, will count for the ACHRC Trail Ride buckle. For more info contact Heidi Jones (256) 234-4500 or Sidney Yates via

Club meetings are held each second Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Arena. All club members are welcome to attend the meeting.

Practice days at the arena have not changed… If you are a member, you may use the arena to ride your horse any day other than when we have a show
or the park is closed for an event.
