Hi Folks,

Just a little bit of news to let ya’ll know what is happening now that show season is over and football season is in full swing….

We would like to congratulate all our members that participated in the AOHA State show and all of our champions. EAHA won many highpoint awards!

Halter Reserve Champion - Tabatha House

Pony Timed Event Third Place - Sarah Slay

We had several class champions which we’ll not try to name at this time. They will be listed on your program at the EAHA Awards Supper. You can see all the results at www.showaoha.org now.

There are several things on the calendar for the rest of the year. Please post on your refrigerator door – and, as always, keep check on the website for updates and news between newsletters:

October 6th, 2007 Allen Ingle Walking Horse Event – 4:00 P.M. – ACHRC Arena
We need help with working this show. Concession workers (cooks & inside workers), arena gate entrance people, office workers, and runners to the DQP. If you can help, please email the ACHRC email address (achrcmail@yahoo.com) or call Pat Avery 256-234-2925. We will try to set up shifts if we have enough volunteers.

October 14th EAHA meeting at the arena. This is the meeting where EAHA officers for 2008 are elected. If you are interested in helping out with the association, please attend this meeting. It is an open meeting starting at 2:00 P.M.

November 8th ACHRC club meeting. This is the meeting where the club officers and board members are elected. Meeting at the Arena starts at 6:30 P.M. Every member is welcome to attend this meeting.

November 10th EAHA Awards Supper at the Charles E. Bailey Gym on Arena Road - 7:00 P.M
You will be receiving an invitation.

December 1st ACHRC Awards Supper at the Charles E. Bailey Gym on Arena Road - 7:00 P.M
You will be receiving an invitation.
