The Alex City Horse Riding Club - James Abney Memorial Scholarship

Qualifications:

  • Member of ACHRC the year prior to application of scholarship.
  • Senior in high school or already in college.
  • Application turned in to Committee Member by the last ACHRC show in July.
  • Winner chosen based on school grades and participation in equine activities.
  • Applications are available at the ACHRC first show of the season and the scholarship will be awarded at the last ACHRC show of season.
  • Committee Members are:  Pat Avery, Harry Crew, Allen Ingle, and Sidney Yates.  In the event of a tie, ACHRC President will have the deciding vote.
